Administrator, Floor Covering Replacement Program (1993 - 2001), San Mateo - Foster City School District

Responsibilities included identifying floor covering products and installation methods to be used district wide; development of product and installation specifications to be used district-wide; budgeting; bid solicitation and review; and quality control inspections.


Authorized Claims Adjustor (1997 - 2003 ), Mannington Resilient Mills, Inc.

Responsibilities include site inspections, claim evaluation, and claim settlement on behalf of Mannington Resilient Mills.


 Administrator, Flooring Settlement Agreement, UC Berkeley Life Sciences Building (1998 - 2004 ), University of California Regents and DuPont Flooring Systems

Appointed by Special Master and agreed to by plaintiff and defense as final arbiter and administrator of settlement agreement. Responsible for monitoring the floor covering performance and the identification of failed areas. Coordinated all replacement and repair activities. Maintained all records relative to the settlement agreement.


Project Development and Quality Assurance Inspector, (1999 - 2006), The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Retained by the Project Management division to facilitate the replacement of flooring products (specialty carpet items as well as hardwood sports flooring). Responsibilities included the development of project specifications, quality assurance inspections, bid review and contractor recommendations.


Project Development and Quality Assurance Inspector (2003), City of Clayton, California and Mt. Diablo School District

Retained by the City of Clayton and the Mt. Diablo School District to evaluate hardwood floor finish failure at the Clayton Community Sports Center. Developed repair procedure; evaluated submitted bids. Provided quality assurance inspections throughout the repair project.


Consultant, Water Intrusion and Mold Damage (2004 - 2006),  East Side Unified High School District/The Seville Group Independence High School

Evaluated the extent of damage caused by multiple water intrusion incidents during building renovation. Recommended course of action vis-a-vis repair and replacement.


Consultant, Linoleum and Rubber Flooring Failures (2004 - 2009), G. L. Bruno Associates/Plaza Surgical Center

Evaluated reasons of flooring failure and recommended corrections. Developed repair scope documents, oversaw corrective work and advised on acceptance.


Project Development and Quality Assurance Inspector (2005), San Lorenzo School District,  Arroyo and San Lorenzo High Schools

Developed project scope and written product/installation specifications for hardwood sports floor replacement in gymnasium. Provided quality assurance inspections during the course of the complete refinishing of the hardwood gymnasium floor. 


Quality Assurance Inspector and Consultant (2006 - 2009), Safeway Stores (Northern California)

Inspect for proper floor preparation and resinous moisture mitigation application of over 30 newly constructed or remodeled stores in northern and central California. 


Consultant, Floor Preparation and Resilient Floor Failure (2015 - 2016), John Muir Medical Center, Nuclear Medicine Facility (Concord, California) 

Investigate cause of flooring failure throughout the facility; recommend an appropriate repair program. 


Consultant, Quality Assurance Inspector (2016-2017), John Muir Medical Center (JTech), Nuclear Medicine Facility (Concord, California)  

Directed the implementation of the repair plan that I developed and provided in-progress inspections to confirm adherence to written specifications.
